Recap: #ChalkTheBlock on June 20, 2013

IMG_6039We’ve been told that our first #ChalkTheBlock event was an unqualified success! It sure seemed like people had fun. It was great to see people (especially grownups!) drop to the concrete and create. I also loved watching people amble by, musing at the sidewalk as if it were an art gallery.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to participate, to browse the artwork, and especially to our volunteers!

Were you there? Tell us what you thought! What can we do to make it even better?

Check out photos from the event below. Can you join us for the next one on July 18?
